The nice folks at Maya Brenner Designs are so nice they sent me this bracelet to incorporate into an outfit post. The leather tie bracelet is simple and classic with a rock n' roll touch--right up my alley. A native of California, Maya Brenner is a twelve year jewelry industry veteran with a huge celebrity following. There are a bunch of other stand-out styles on the website, too, so be sure to have a look. And, for all you fine sirs out there (I know so many of you read my blog), remember! Valentine's Day is coming up quickly...JUST SAYING.
I would also like to introduce you to my new shirt from Tulle. I zipped that bitch myself (all mah single ladies!). It's exciting because, if you haven't noticed, I hardly ever wear just a shirt. It's always a shirt + blazer, or a shirt + sweater, or a shirt + jacket. So this is me wearing just a shirt (and pants), and it feels good.
In other news, surgery has been scheduled for the end of the week. I plan to keep posting as usual, but I may not be around your blogs as often as I would like. Bear with me! You may not know it, but I'd do ya.

Great bracelet...delicate, but a bit rock and roll!! Love the detailing on that top...the floaty layers and and the fun zipper!!
ReplyDeleteThat shirt is super feminine and needs nothing else. You've styled it beautifully. Simple and chic. Those pants fit you PERFECTLY!

Ohh this is a very pretty bracelet, love the rock and roll touch it adds. That top is gorgeous and I am soo impressed that you zipped it up yourself. I have a few dresses I can't physically zip up so it limits their use.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to your mum with her surgery, take good care of her :)

Pretty bracelet. That shirt looks like a two-man affair to get the zipper up. You must be a contortionist to zip it yourself.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty blouse! Super impressed that you zipped it yourself too - mad props to ya :) And I definitely want one of those bracelets for V day...might have to casually email the link to the hubs...

ReplyDeletewhoop whoop for zipping up your blouse all by yourself! It looks great on you so all the effort was worth it. Now when you say you'll "do" me..what exactly does that mean?
ReplyDeleteOoo pretty bracelet! I also love this top, and how ANNOYING are zips on the back of clothes?! I'm up at 6am jumping around my room trying to reach round to be able to zip my dress/tops up and theres no one else up to save me from nightmare :P Over dramatic? Maybe if it was a sensible time for day lol

Heehee what a witty post title! Love the bracelet- when I first read the paragraph I thought you were implying that the jewellery designer was 12 years old! ;)
ReplyDeleteAshley, I heart you. You are so hilarious. And I'm impressed that you zipped that shirt up by yourself. I don't buy zipped up tops because I know I can't zip them up myself ever. And what a lurvely bracelet that is! Love that it's leather-strapped and all :)
ReplyDeleteI'll be sending you some good vibes for surgery success :)
