The Editor

Hey look! I almost look kind of professional here. Like maybe I could be an editor for a semi-fancy magazine. You know. Minus the wrinkles.

Want to know a secret? I don't iron. Ever. I can honestly tell you that I have never once ironed anything I've put on my body before. I used to iron hankies for my grandma when I was 12, but that's it. I'm just not down with the ironing.

Maybe that's why I don't have a real job yet. Hmm. Now there's a thought.

This week = very, very busy. I didn't even shower yesterday, that's how busy it is. I have announcements for y'all, too, so I'll probably be posting every day this week. Yes dearies, you read that right. Everyday. You know, like how August was. Except the exact opposite. Get. Ready.

Oh, yeah. Remember to enter the giveaway, too.

Top: Tucker for Target
Sweater vest: UO
Trousers: Thrifted
Wallet: Fossil
Nail polish: Essie in "Very Structured"

  1. I never iron anything either, which is really terrible since I tend to crumple up clothes and render them unwearable. I'll learn someday...

  2. I hate to iron! That's why half of my clothes never get worn! You do look really cute though :) I made a polyvore for the JC Penney thing, but I am a dummy and can't figure out how to get the link. Any suggestions? Thanks, Heather

  7. Every day? Wow!

Ironing isn't that hard. And, if you do it watching TV, you hardly know you're working.

  11. I have never even used an iron. My mom still irons the clothes that I need to have ironed, but I usually opt not to have anything ironed. I don't know why. Ironing is stupid.

Your polka-dot top is "bomb ass," as I believe you would say. I'm stealing that phrase now, by the way.

  12. I'm always ready for a dose of daily Ashley. Bring it.

I love this outfit. You look stunning, professional, chic, glamorous. For realz.

I don't iron ever either. And then I bought my awesome steamer and it's SO easy that I've started steaming my wrinkled clothes. I highly recommend.

  13. Aw man, I guess I am alone in that I love to iron things. I love it. I could iron all day. I would be a seamstress if I could. Just so I could iron. I used to iron my tee shirts, but I kind of calmed down after high school.

I'm so excited for extra Ashley in my Google Reader this week.

Also: You look fly. And professional.

  17. You do indeed look very professional, and I am so with you on the ironing malarky! Can't be doing with it, just shake the clothes a few times and creases come out when they're on the line anyway... well most of the time!
Still can't get over how much your hair suits you! Looks so fab :)

  18. you do look professional! I love it! Excited for your announcements.

I gave up ironing when I went to University. I've been clean for nearly 5 years now. Ironing is overrated.

Gorgeous as always, and not a crease on you

here's a secret... i would never have thought you didn't iron. there is a blogger i frequent and everytime i pop onto her site I just shake my head because not only does she obviously not iron, she looks like she might have slept in those clothes!
    you are safe!!
can't wait to hear you news and posting everyday.... WOW

  21. you're so pretty...

i loathe ironing. if it's SUPER bad, i spray the ironing spray on there and hope for the best. it's saved me a few times...on those days i'm supposed to look like i care.

however, when you're as pretty as you are, i don't think anyone's looking at the wrinkles. :)

  22. You do look professional. I love your shirt!
I don't iron things, either. Which drives my wrinkle-phobic friend NUTS (and sometimes I'm mean and wear wrinkled clothes purposely when I'm with her) but I purposefully buy clothes that are wrinkle-resistant because I don't like ironing.
That, or I just wear wrinkly clothes.

Yeah great... go ahead and blog everyday. It's just that I don't have time. At all. I hate working... (note to self - I have to make a profession out of unemployment...). I'm still your blog-friend and love you though!! I just suck at blogging lately! Kisses :)
