I'm in the middle of my long weekend away with my boyfriend, so I'mma keep this short. It's supposed to be in the 60°Fs today and tomorrow, so I'm hoping to put that picnic basket I never got around to buying to good use.
This skirt is another one of those items that I could wear for a week straight and not get tired of. Really, I think I might have to start a feature. Like, every month, I will choose an item. I will wear that item for a week straight. I may or may not wash that item in between wears, because I am gross. Then, I will post on my blog about it. Ta da!
I got up too early this morning and, as a result, my creative juices are not flowing. Yawn. I also was deprived of my usual breakfast of Cheerios and a banana. I'm such a creature of habit that I have issues when I'm not doin' my thang. But anyway. I'm out like trout. How was your weekend?

Very lovely! The detailing on your necklace really completes this whole look. And those pink Keds are the cutest thing. My creative juices aren't flowing either. Must be because it is Monday. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI think that is a very fun idea for a feature. I would totally like to partake in such a style challenge.
ReplyDeleteI feel like every time I get something new, that is what I'd like to do, just wear it everyday for a week!
Chic on the Cheap
i really like this outfit especially your skirt, I could see wearing it everyday for a week, no problem
ReplyDeleteLove the skirt too- the print is really great and visually interesting! Haha, that sounds like a fun idea for a feature- no one has to know if you wash or not in-between ;) Also, love your colored Keds- I must get some. Hope your weekend away with the bf is going fabulously!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Yes I am graduating at the end of May, not sure if I answered that here already!
Loving the skirt. It's the perfect length and I love the pattern.
ReplyDeleteOh, Keds! Those are about the most athletic shoes that I feel comfortable wearing! (I seriously can't rock sneakers. Eek.)
ReplyDeleteThis outfit looks very relaxed and casual yet still stylish! Yay for 60 degree weather. I love Minnesota in the Spring, Summer and Fall. :) If I had a chauffeur I'd love Minnesota in the Winter, too. hehe

You crack me up! I adore this look- the skirt, the accessories, the tied tee= divine! I also love those furry nature things- at first glance I thought they were baby birds- are they pussywillows?
ReplyDeleteHave a great break away with the BF! I do have a skirt like that but fitting into it is not possible anymore!
ReplyDeleteHi Ashley - I awarded you the versatile blogger award. :-)
ReplyDeleteyour photos are always so so lovely. I am so glad I stumbled upon your blog!
ReplyDeleteI love how you personalize a simple outfit like this :)
I've started to really love this slightly see-through type of fabric for T-shirts...slub, I think they call it? It's so soft and comfortable and sexy without being too revealing when you don't want to be.
ReplyDeleteI love how comfortable you are not only with your fashion sense but how comfortable you obviously are in your body/your own skin. It really shows through in your photos, and I just think that's the most awesome thing ever. You are who you are, no apologies necessary, and you look great doin' it. It's too bad you can't pass this sense of self out like candy!!
