Flowers and Trees, Flowers and Trees (Woo hoo!)

Yesterday was the nicest. Day. Ever. My boyfriend and I spent most of the day outside, taking walks and enjoying a tasty picnic (in a lunchbox, because I got to thinking: how practical is a real picnic basket, anyway? Do normal people really use picnic baskets? I don't think so. Normal people use mother trucking lunchboxes!). Some of you were wondering where we were going for our long weekend. I got your answer right here: nowhere! That's right. We just stayed at his lake house for a couple of days and enjoyed the outdoors.

So, I did end up breaking down and buying one dress from the reissued GO International Target dress collection. It was overpriced, but I justified the purchase because it's just so damn versatile. This time, I'm wearing it as a jacket/robe/kimono-esque thing by wearing it over a tank top and jeans.

Brownies points if you know what song I'm singing the title of this post to the tune of.

Dress: Tucker for Target
Jeans: GAP
Boots: Jeffrey Campbell
Sunnies: Ray-Bans

  2. I brought a real picnic basket (thrifted!) with glassware and silverware and wine to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden haha! It felt very artificial but at the same time, we got to pretend we were proper English royalty stealing away from the palace for a day...

Meantime, I'm starting to get so intrigued by this Tucker for Target dress! I see it on everyone, everywhere! It must be really versatile...

I have also wondered on the picnic baskets - until I saw my friend with here amazing wicker picnic basket-case, shaped like a suitcase and perfectly compartmentalized for all your bits and pieces.
