I wore this coat back in September (which, you know, is typical, because I do wear things more than once). My hair sure looked better back then. Goddamn. I switched it up a bit this time with some black knee-highs, boots, and a scarf. Thanks again to my boyfriend, who, like last time, was my photo bitch. It sure is a lot quicker than setting up the tripod, and I think he actually has learned to focus my dSLR. Amazing!
I wore this Christmas shopping today. I didn't end up buying any Christmas presents. I did, however, get a shearling vest from Old Navy for myself that will probably be debuting here in the next few weeks. It was on sale and I couldn't resist! I think I'm just going to give cards for Christmas that say, "Sorry! I couldn't find anything for you, but I did find this really kick-ass vest for myself! There's always next year, right?"

Haha that always happens when I go shopping for other people. I just see so many things I want for myself! You look lovely and I can't believe you're not wearing any tights when it's snowing! I seriously couldn't do that here!

Wow, we are vibing on some many unbelievable frequencies. I really respect that you don't drink either. I think a lot of people our age just abuse alcohol and don't drink responsibly. I don't care how smart a person is-- I get completely turned off and disgusted when I hear something along the lines of, "When finals are over, I'm gonna get SMASHED/WASTED/etc." I find drinking really unattractive, not to mention the fact that this is probably how most of the freshman 15 weight is gained. Also, having worked in labs with 200 proof ethanol, I have no desire to put a solvent in my body that I've used to run an experiment. It's also more socially acceptable to drink. When people in my class heard that I didn't drink, I got questions of, "What did you do on your 21st birthday?" Um...not waste my money or brain cells? I like to be coherent when I'm celebrating another year of life, thanks.

I loathe Christmas shopping - so try and avoid it whenever possible, but I adore the fact that others find this pasttime enjoyable and fun. I do like the pattern on the ensemble you are wearing - and the scarf is lovely.
