November dress

I got the most amazing dress in the mail from Madewell the other day, and I can already tell it's going to become one of my staples this season. My winter uniform tends to be: dress, tights, coat, and boots. A dress is just so easy, and tights keep me warmer than pants do. This is version one of this dress; it's not revolutionary or ground breaking, but it was a good test run. I'm going to try and find a chunky sleeveless sweater and pair it with that next.

No leg/feet shots because I am wearing a pair of white tights and they are far too big for me. My right leg looks like it's wearing a really bad wiener casing or something in all of the pictures. Lots of ripples.

Dress: Madewell
Belt: Anthropologie
Bracelet: Free People

  5. Gosh that dress is so pretty on you! It's just gorgeous. I never wear dresses in Winter because I think it's too cold but you may have changed my mind. I may have to invest in some chunky tights and try it out ; )I think we live in very similar climates. (freezing cold!)

  8. Pretty color and print. Clothes always look so good on you that they should only get half the credit for the overall appearance.

  21. Adorable dress m'dear!
Tights are a seasonal staple for me too, I don't think I could last the wonter months without 'em.
I'm really loving decorative tights right now (dotty, lace, bow and heart print ones) tehe. I'm starting to spend more money on tights then I do on clothes! haha

  22. The Madewell dress is adorbs. I can see how it's going to be a fall (or year round) favorite! I like the simple, two-toned print. It's a completely perfect dress to build tons of remixed outfits around.

  24. This is such a gorgeous dress and perfect for Fall! I love the belt you've paired it with, and the scenery.
And dresses are indeed easy! My legs get cold faster in trousers than they do in stockings.

  30. Gorgeous coloured dress and it photographs so well too. Re: your previous post on BM makeup, that was the first mineral makeup I tried but binned it in favour of Everyday Minerals within a month. I also found the bismuth made my face shiny and itchy. Not good at all!
