I'll journey to the end






^ I'm posting this picture to show off my eye make-up and new earrings. Click to enlarge. Unfortunately, all the other similar pictures where I am NOT being distracted by an obnoxious but lovable boyfriend were out of focus. Isn't that always the case?


PLEASE EXCUSE le ridiculous hair!! I put it up after I got out of the shower to deal with it later, but my boyfriend was all like, "Leave it! It looks good!" and, after about 30 minutes of my debating whether it did or it didn't, I took it down and redid it. Unfortunately, these pictures were already taken, and I wasn't going to make lover boy wait any longer through another round of my incessant camwhoring. But uh, hey, this is a clothing and make-up blog type of deal. I never said anything about good hair.

Speaking of my boyfriend and camwhoring...holy poop. This was my first time trying to get some outfit shots while around him. It went reasonably well, minus the various pictures of him mooning the camera in the background. Many were rendered unusable due to someone's photo bombing skills.

In other news: yesterday's shopping trip went well! I think I'm just going to incorporate my loot into future outfit posts. The chambray shirt in this post is new, as well as the earrings. I also managed to bring home a new dress, trench coat, skirt, hat, and blazer. I purposely avoided the shoe section because I knew I couldn't handle it. Screw diamonds, shoes are my best friend.

  7. I ADORE your shirt. I've been in search of the perfect chambray shirt for so long now, but J. Crew's versions never seem to go on sale (which is unfortunately, because they're so pretty). I can't believe yours is from Old Navy - I'll definitely have to stop by and see what I can find there!

    This outfit is beautiful - I especially love the different shades of blue/blue-ish gray together and the different textures of the shirt and skirt. Genius!

    And I actually quite like your hair. I'm a big fan of the messy, undone look! And your eye makeup looks lovely.
