Quick post after a fast-paced day! I rushed out of the house this morning and just now noticed I forgot to include accessories today. Oopsie. This is so much more a fall outfit than a summer one, but it was chilly this morning, so I guess it's kind of fitting. And, after all, it is August 17th...less than a month of summer left! I love fall, but I hate winter, so I guess fall and I have a bittersweet relationship. Going on a semi-major shopping trip tomorrow, despite the fact that I hardly have any cash monies. Yay?

ReplyDeleteAnd, like you, I have a bittersweet relationship with fall too. I love fall clothes but there is just no reasoning with winter, it doesn't allow you to dress the way you want usually.
Loving the tights -- that's one reason I can't wait for fall. But I hate cold weather so I know I am also not looking forward to the end of summer :(

ReplyDeleteLove this outfit, too! I've always loved wearing colorful tights (especially with black/grey dresses and whatnot). I can't wait for Fall to start wearing them more often (it's still quite hot and humid where I live), however, I'll definitely miss the lazy days of summer.

I agree with you about fall and winter: they're respectively good and bad. Tights are my all-time favorite clothing item so I can't wait for fall weather to arrive. I love yours here. (Most of mine are Hue, too, but I'm planning to try We Love Colors since so many bloggers like them.0

Shopping trips are always necessary, even if you don't buy anything. Getting a look at what's in stores and seeing possible future buys can be fun, too. And it's been a while since I've visited your blog, but you've just gotten lovelier and lovelier. Have you done anything to your hair? It looks darker than what I remembered it to be.
